The highly anticipated 10th Retreat of the Association of Senates, SHOORA and Equivalent Councils in Africa and Arab World (ASSECAA) started on a very high note where the Senate of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Eswatini hosted the high-level meeting. The Kingdom’s Senate President Ps Lindiwe Dlamini welcomed 17 countries that were representing their Parliaments with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) leading with a twelve-member delegation. This historical meeting was officially opened by H.E. the Rt. Honourable Prime Minister.
